I had excruciating lower back pain

I had excruciating lower back pain which was preventing me from sitting for long periods and making any spontaneous movements. The pain was also radiating down my thighs. This was making studying very difficult for me – I am a medical student.

Dr. Chris Cannon was very professional and excellent in diagnosing my problem and coming up with a treatment plan. I felt a whole lot better in just 3 sessions and definitely could not have managed my medical finals which was a month away then!

I got a lot of unexpected benefits from the treatment, as well as felling a lot better, I was less tired, my stomach acids miraculously disappeared and I just felt lighter in general!

I didn’t have any misconceptions about chiropractic and honestly I do champion chiropractic care. People laugh at me because I’m from the medical profession, but honestly I’m testimony that it works! Thanks Dr Cannon!

I would definitely recommend the clinic! chiropractic care works and it’s all natural. It certainly complements medical care without the negative side affects of drugs! Go for it!

Dr. Cannon’s amazing! I am grateful to him for helping me with all that exam stress and tension. My back feels all GRAND now!

My back is giving me a lot less trouble now

I came across Abbey Chiro in Ikea when I was doing some some shopping, they were there doing some free back examinations.

I have attended the clinic only a few times so far, and it seems to be effective, my back is giving me a lot less trouble.

Before I came across the clinic, I didn’t know anything about chiropractic care. A few years ago at the RDS (Royal Dublin Society) I got a computer scan, and I was told that one leg was shorter than the other.

I would recommend chiropractic treatment and the clinic to friends and family as I have found it helpful for me so far.

Getting Sciatica Relief in Dublin

Getting Sciatica Relief in DublinSciatica pain can be unexpected and sudden. Some people describe it as being like a lightening strike, or even a constant ache deep down. It targets the hip area. This is a serious condition that can really get much worse if it goes untreated. Relief is out there for those who suffer.

The whole problem revolves around the sciatic nerve. This is the largest of all of the nerves in the human body running from the gluteus maximus to the toe area. It branches out to other areas in the body, and the pain can be felt in areas like the joints, muscles, skin and tissues in the lower extremities. The onset of pain may also be felt in the back.

Since sciatica  pain can come from a number of things like lifting wrong, spinal stress, trauma, old injuries, falls, a lack in exercise, sitting for long periods of time and bad posture just to name a few. A chiropractor can offer a lot of relief from the pain that is dealt with by sciatica sufferers.

Subluxations will make the vertebrate openings become narrow and compressed. This will not only stretch and become irritated. The nerves roots are inflamed and this can cause a great deal of chronic pain. When disks dry out because of the condition going untreated the pain will worsen. Permanent damage can become a reality.

Getting with a chiropractor is critical because they are able to identify problem areas. They can pinpoint the vertebrate and execute a painless adjustment to manipulate the spinal cord and eliminate the pain. The chiropractor will also make some suggestions to changes that should be incorporated into your lifestyle for more pain free living.

Maintaining the relationship with your chiropractor is also important. You want to take care of your spine. It is a fundamental part of your everyday functionality. If your spine is sick then your body will be sick. The spine aids function for all of your extremities. Spinal injuries are the major cause of paralysis, so that should give a vague idea of the importance of the spinal cords role is in your ability to move.

The fact of the matter is that having routine visits to your chiropractor when you have sciatica is as important as visiting your heart doctor when you have mitral valve prolapse. It prevents major health issues farther down the line, and restores quality of life that you once thought was a distant memory.

With the right spinal care you can do all of the things that you became unable to do due to your illness. You no longer have to sit on the sidelines and watch life pass you by.

Getting Relief from Migraine Headaches in Dublin

Secretary with strong headacheMigraines are recurring headaches with symptoms such as visual disturbances, nausea and severe pain. Relief from migraines comes in many forms. A combination of treatments spanning lifestyle changes, medications and therapy help relieve persistent migraine symptoms. Pains from migraines are also treated with the help of chiropractic therapy.

Chiropractic therapy is an alternative method of treating severe migraine headaches that’s been gaining reaction as an alternative method to treating the condition in recent years. Chiropractic methods can treat migraines through massages and spinal readjustment, where a chiropractor can help realign problematic points in your back and neck.

Chiropractic practitioners and doctors have researched the effect of migraines treated with chiropractic care. One study likened chiropractic treatments to having an equal effectiveness to the drug amitriptyline, an antidepressant used in the treatment of migraines. Although it should be mentioned that chiropractic is a natural approach without the use of drugs.

Recent chiropractic migraine therapy research gathered information about the effectiveness of chiropractic therapy on a selection of participating patients. Reports from these studies indicated patients experienced a significant improvement in the duration and frequency of their migraines. One in five participants had at least a 90 percent reduction in migraines.

Chiropractors believe proper chiropractic adjustment can reduce the amount of migraines that occur in a person. A chiropractor that performs chiropractic therapy for migraines can realign your vertebrae, providing relief for built-up pressure against inflamed nerves of our spine. This also helps reduce nerve irritation that travels to your brain.

A change in your brain’s blood flow can trigger migraine headaches. During a migraine, blood vessels in your brain constrict, reducing blood flow throughout your brain. A number of triggers, including stress, hormone changes and even caffeine, can provoke constricting blood vessels in your brain. The change of blood flow in your brain invokes the hallucinations or visual disturbances associated with migraines. It can also cause you to experience difficulty speaking, numbness and tingling sensations.

Misaligned spinal joints can decrease your blood flow, causing altered sensations around your spine. Proper chiropractic therapy readjusts your joins in your neck and back, allowing blood flow to restore, preventing disturbance to the blood flow of your brain.

Pregnancy Back Pain Relief in Dublin

Pregnancy Back Pain Relief in DublinChiropractic care during pregnancy can greatly decrease the levels of back pain pregnant women experience. There are chiropractors that specialize in prenatal care and may have specialized tools and tables to deal with pregnancy.

Back pain in pregnancy is caused due to a misalignment of the body. This can occur because of the increase curvature of the back from the abdomen, changes in the pelvis, and changes in posture due to pregnancy.

A chiropractor can help to gain realignment in the body and relieve the strain on the back. By controlling the back pain, you have a healthier pregnancy and relieve stress on other joints. A properly aligned spine is central to our skeletal system and controls a great deal about how we feel. This is exacerbated by pregnancy.

Back pain is a very common complaint of pregnant women and this pain can cause pregnancy to be a very unwelcome experience. Lower back pain can last for several weeks or months depending on the severity. In fact, 50% of all pregnant women will experience chronic back pain due to pregnancy. That number gets even higher when the woman goes into labor.

Chiropractics during pregnancy are completely safe. Studies have been conducted to prove that chiropractors are not only safe, but can help the body better prepare for labor and make the labor less intense. In a study in 2005 by the Job Analysis of Chiropractic, 72% of women that sought chiropractic care got relief for their back pain.

While chiropractors do help with back pain, it is not immediate. Another study found that the average time before relief was felt from back pain was 4.5 days due to chiropractics. This suggests that it does take the body time to react and adjust before allowing the relief of back pain.

Back pain is something that many women suffer with during pregnancy; it does not have to be something that all women live with for nine months. Chiropractors offer extraordinary options to relieve back pain.

When seeking out a chiropractor in Dublin, be sure to make sure they have experience with pregnant women to ensure there are no complications, make sure they are reputable chiropractors and be prepared for relief to take some time.

The back pain disappeared after the treatment I received

I fist came across Abbey Chiro on Facebook and Google when I was looking for somewhere to go to handle the back pain I had. At the time I didn’t know much about chiropractic care to be honest, but it ticked all the boxes so I decided to give it a go.

All I can say is; it Worked! After six visits my back pain had totally disappeared.

I would definitely recommend the clinic to people I know because of the results I got myself, the staff are also friendly and they took care of me when I attended the clinic.
