Elaine Prada
Elaine is originally from Brazil. Many years ago she felt the urge to travel to Asia to discover the home of Vispanna – an ancient meditation practice of the Buddha. While in Thailand she fell in love with massage for the first time while studying at the famous Wat Po Temple of Traditional Medicine in Bangkok. While at Wat Po she gained proficiency and experience in massage for women including pre and post natal massage, oil massage and aromatherapy massage.
Elaine then ventured north to the sacred land of Chiang Mai where she immersed herself in the study of Reflexology. Here she learned that this 5000 year old form of foot acupressure works the body’s meridians to help sooth an array of ailments and pains through the whole body.
To end her journey she finally met with the great master and renowned, Boonthumme, under whom she became an expert in the art of Traditional Thai Massage. This form of massage is over 2,500 years old. With yoga-like positions and rhythmical motions it aims to bring about full body rejuvenation.
Elaine is delighted to bring this ancient knowledge from the birth place of massage to your door step in Dublin!
